1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of Calmer Roads (https://calmerroads.com), operated by Yevgeniy Ponomarchuk.

2. What this service is

Calmer Roads is a planning aid and an editorial travel guide. It is not a navigation system and not a traffic information service. There is no live data on closures, weather, roadworks or traffic. Ratings are subjective editorial assessments; routes are non-binding suggestions based on a simplified road network with estimated times and distances.

Road signs, traffic lights, instructions from the authorities and the traffic rules in force always take priority. You decide yourself whether a road suits you, your passengers and your vehicle. Do not use this website while driving. Details in the disclaimer.

3. Pro access

Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; their terms apply to the purchase contract, payment and statutory withdrawal rights. The season pass is valid for six months from purchase; 12-month access is valid for twelve months from purchase. Pro extends the scope of the editorial information; sections 2 and 5 apply unchanged. A licence key is for personal use and may not be shared or published.

4. Availability and changes

We aim for smooth operation but do not guarantee constant availability. We may change, correct or remove content, ratings and features at any time.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation, that is, an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper use of the service possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the typical damage foreseeable when the contract was made. For information provided free of charge, liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for injury to life, body or health.

Beyond this, we accept no liability for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the information, or for damage arising from its use, in particular for damage to vehicles, fines, tolls, detours, missed bookings or lost time.

6. Third-party links

Links to Google Maps, booking sites, partners and official bodies lead to third-party services whose content we are not responsible for. Google Maps may choose a different road from the one suggested here.

7. Copyright

Texts, ratings, data and graphics are protected by copyright. Automated scraping and reuse in other products are not allowed without permission.

8. Law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid.
