Narrow, winding climb to Europe's largest high alpine meadow. In season private cars may not drive up between 9:00 and 17:00; most visitors take the cable car from Siusi.
Uphill driving allowed only before 9:00 and after 17:00 in season. From 29 June 2026 a paid online parking reservation is required (P2 Compatsch €30/day, P1 Spitzbühl €15/day).
Not for: campers and caravans.
